You do. As a 1099 contractor you’re responsible for withholding and filing (think quarterly estimates). We’ll issue a 1099-NEC for eligible earnings at year-end. Track mileage and expenses; a tax pro is your best friend here.

Yes. As an independent contractor, you supply your own products and equipment, and you choose what to use—Moply does not provide or mandate brands. If a client requests something specific, we’ll pass along the note and you can accept or decline the job. For STRs, hosts typically provide linens and consumables on-site.

Many bring a vacuum with attachments, mop system, broom/dustpan, microfiber cloths, scrub pads/brushes, duster, step stool, gloves, and their preferred cleaners (multi-surface, glass, bathroom, degreaser, stainless). Entirely your choice.

Step-stool reach only (no high ladders), no heavy furniture or appliance moving—we’re cleaners, not weightlifters. Skip hazardous conditions (bio/needles, active mold, pests, heavy construction debris). Surface safety beats heroics every time; if something seems risky, pause and ping us.
